What is Global Sisterhood Day?
Global Sisterhood Day is a movement that celebrates the connections between women. March 19, 2016 marks the first annual Global Sisterhood Day, and women from around the world will come together in conversation about our hearts, lives, and vision for the planet. It’s an opportunity for women to rise in connection, support, and celebration of one another.

What is a Sister Circle?
A Sister Circle is a 90-minute gathering of up to 10 women (9 attendees plus a host), to connect and share personal celebrations, challenges, and desires.
What is expected of a Sister Circle Leader?
A Sister Circle Leader is responsible for selecting a venue (physical or virtual), defining a start time (all celebrations happen on 3/19), greeting participants, and posing questions during the 90 minute gathering (we’ll give you the tools). Most importantly, the Sister Circle Leader is asked to hold the intention of presence and connection for her Sister Circle.
How do I best prepare for my Sister Circle?
The Sister Circle Leader Guide will give you all of the tools you need to host a successful Sister Circle. In addition to the guide, the Global Sisterhood Day team will be available to answer any questions you may have in our closed Facebook group and on our Sister Circle Leader call (scheduled for 3/16). However, at the end of the day, it’s all about presence, connection, and your participation.

How will women register for my Sister Circle?
Attendees will register for Sister Circles at SisterhoodDay.com. You are NOT responsible for filling your Sister Circle (with up to 9 other women), but you are more than welcome to invite your friends and colleagues to join your celebration by asking them to sign up through SisterhoodDay.com. To keep it to 90 minutes, please do not host more than 9 women.
How will I know who signed up for my circle and if my circle is full?
If your circle is full, the system will no longer allow people to register. To check yourself, you can search for your circle in the map at https://sisterhoodday.com/map to see if it’s full. You can continue to promote your circle as long as people are able to register. A list of attendees will be emailed to you on the morning of your Sister Circle.
How can I contact my Sister Circle attendees?
We will take care of reminders and answer any questions your attendees may have during the registration process. Attendees will receive your phone number from our team so they can reach you on the day of. Please be by your phone on March 19th so your attendees can reach you easily.

Is there a maximum number of women that can attend a circle?
Sister Circles are limited to 10 women (9 attendees plus a host). We want to keep these gatherings intimate!
I can’t find a Sister Circle in my area. What now?
If you’re having trouble finding a Sister Circle near you, we invite you to join a virtual Sister Circle or host your own.
